Undergrad 2+ year of experience

I am a creative thinker in love with learning about the biology behind the brain and the body. My teaching experiences include serving as a Peer Teacher for introductory biology while at U.Va., and a variety of both group and one on one tutoring programs ranging in ages from elementary to college level. Outside of my academics and work experience, my hobbies include volunteering, writing and music. I worked as a crisis hotline volunteer in college, spent four years as an editor for U.Va.’s independent student-run newspaper and played rhythm guitar and keys in two college rock bands.

Current experience

Medical Assistant and Scribe at an ENT Office while applying to medical school.

Education

B.A. in Biology and Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia

Fun Fact

I played in two rock bands while in college, one as a rhythm guitarist and one as the keys player. There’s nothing I loved more than taking the stage with my best friends, and getting to rock out with the crowd!
